  • 64Mb RAM (Windows 98 SE or ME)
  • 128Mb RAM (Windows 2000 or XP)
  • Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher
  • Netscape Navigator 6.01 or higher

*must have latest service pack installed

Macintosh:

  • Power PC G3, G4 or G5
  • Mac OS 9.1 or higher
  • 128Mb RAM
  • Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher
  • Safari 1.0 or higher

Wireless Client /WiFi Card (PCI, USB or PC-card)

  • 802.11b capable
  • Recommended Brands: Linksys, Trendnet, Netgear, D-Link, Cisco
  • Do NOT purchase wireless equipment with these brands: Microsoft, Intel, Belkin

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

The Centrelea Computer Club is providing access to their wireless connection as a service to the community. Telephone support (during normal CAP-site business hours) for questions regarding set-up and other issues is provided by Club members, free of charge.

A service fee of $25/hour (1 hour minimum) is charged for in-home installation assistance and troubleshooting.

Our Network covers the area between the east end of Centrelea and the Bruce farm. To use the network, you must have your computer authorized for it first.

Please contact us if you live within the range and are interested in accessing the network.
